Our team had a highly successful participation at the 35th International Conference on Robotics in Alpe-Adria-Danube Region – RAAD 2026, where we presented four papers covering our recent research in mobile manipulation, robot control, redundancy resolution, and motion optimization.
We are especially proud that the paper:
“Postural Optimization of Mobile Manipulators under End-Effector Constraints through Local Redundancy Exploitation”
T. Petrič and L. Žlajpah
received the Best Research Paper Award.
In addition, the paper:
“Kinematic Null-Space Torque Minimization for Extended-Tool Manipulation”
J. Šifrer and T. Petrič
was nominated for the Best Student Paper Award.
These recognitions represent an important achievement for our team and confirm the relevance of our research in advanced robotic systems, mobile manipulation, and redundancy-based robot control.
Congratulations to all co-authors and colleagues for their excellent research, presentations, and contributions to the RAAD community. We would also like to thank the organizers for a well-organized and inspiring conference.
